General Information

On January 1, 2014, new Regulations for the Award of Doctoral Degrees went into effect at TUM. All doctoral degrees registered as of January 1, 2014 fall under these new regulations; switching to the old regulations (August 01, 2001 or March 12, 2012) is not possible. Under the new regulations, all doctoral candidates of TUM automatically become members of TUM Graduate School and one of its Graduate Centers. For these doctoral candidates, the Statutory Regulations of TUM Graduate School and the regulations of the respective Graduate Center are valid.
