Join “Entrepreneurial Science Talents”

The TU Munich jointly with the TUM Venture Labs are organizing a new format this summer semester called “Entrepreneurial Science Talents” (www.tum.de/est).
The one-week program is aimed at TUM scientists with the goal of promoting the establishment of science-based start-ups and generating new research impulses. It offers them the opportunity to tackle research problems in an entrepreneurial way in interdisciplinary teams and test their potential. The scientists can either take part with an idea or a suitable research topic that they would like to bring in as a challenge, or they can join as a talent in one of the teams. The format is supported by the Graduate School and can be credited as a transferable skills training (https://www.gs.tum.de/gs/promovierende/qualifizierung/fachuebergreifende-qualif[..]).
It is open to scientists from all faculties and professors are invited to also raise challenges and spread the information in their research teams and thus give their scientists an opportunity to join the program, ideally put chair IP or research into practice, profit from scientific interdisciplinary and create new research impulses for their respective subject of research. The format is also a great way to further market the chair and its research activities.
The pilot will run from 03.07. - 07.07.23 in Freising. For more information and to register for the program you can visit projects' landing page (www.tum.de/est). For additional questions you can also contact the respective program manager Julia Hinderink (julia.hinderink@tum.de) directly!
