  • Like every year, all doctoral candidates at MGC are choosing their representatives for the steering committee of their program and MGC managing board.

    The elections take place online from 11.10.2022 until 17.10.2022.

    Please check your mailboxes and see if you got the invitation to participate – check also your spam folder, in case the email landed there.

  • All MGC doctoral candidates that entered the doctoral candidate's list after 2017 have to take the "Good Scientific Practice" course. During the last years, MGC has been offering courses in German and English. 

    We have just added new dates for the winter semester 2022-23. All that still need to take the course can check the dates in their DocGS account and register for one of the dates.

  • The fourth networking event in the Lead & Inspire series will take place on October 6th, 2022, under the motto Women Drive Innovation.

    The event series, orgganised by Novartis Deutschland, is designed to inspire women to pursue careers in medical and scientific fields. Attendees will have the chance to question speakers directly, share ideas and experiences, and make new connections.

  • The Sustainable World 2022 symposium on September 29, 2022 at the LMU Biomedical Center provides a forum for next generation researchers of all levels to inform themselves further on diverse sustainability topics, hearing from passionate experts in the fields of ecology, economy and sociology.

  • This year, the annual confirmation of membership („Rückmeldung“) has started on September 1 and ends on October 13. As soon as you have confirmed your data in DocGS, your supervisor will automatically be asked to confirm the data as well. Only if both parties confirm the data before the deadline on October 13, your TUM-GS membership will continue. We have notified all candidates, who have not submitted their dissertation yet, on September 1 via the email address provided in DocGS.
