ENCODS is a 2-day conference (a satellite event of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies - FENS) for master and doctoral students in neuroscience organized by doctoral students and supported by FENS.
This year the overarching theme is 'Labcoats and laptops: neuroscience through different lenses', highlighting the different frameworks through which scientists approach neuroscience and will take place on the 1-2 of May 2023 in Faro, Portugal (with the deadline for registration on March 3rd, 2023).
The main aim of the ENCODS meeting is to provide a safe space for early-career neuroscientists where they can share their research in the form of talks and poster presentations, create new collaborations, learn from experts, and network with researchers and students from all around the world. The number of attendees is around 100, which should create a privileged environment for students and trainees to get to know each other but also engage in conversations with the keynote and workshop speakers.
There will be opportunities for poster presentations, lightning talks, and longer format talks, as well as workshop sessions and four keynote speakers from a range of neuroscience disciplines.
